Produce you buy at your local grocery store travels many hundreds and sometime thousands of miles to get to your table. During that journey you can bet that dirt and debris have tagged along. But did you know that you probably have bacteria, possibly including E. coli, – as well as residual pesticides on the surface of fruit and vegetables (yes – even the Organic stuff)?

You can use directly on a piece of fruit (like an apple) or add about a tablespoon to a big bowl of water. A little goes a LOOOONG way! You can use cold water and mix the berries around with your hands for about 30 seconds.
