Ferre classic extractor hood is a device which contains a mechanical fan that is fitted directly above the stove or hob located in the kitchen. Its sole job is to remove smoke, heat, steam, grease, fumes and combustion products from the air.

An extractor Ferre classic fan can help by removing the moisture-laden air from your bath, shower and sink before the water vapour can condense back into liquid and become a problem. The fan draws out the air and expellsit outside, through vents or ducts. This allows drier, fresh air to circulate through the room.

Gas stoves produce a lot of heat and harmful contaminants, so we recommend venting hoods over gas stoves to the outside. Electric stoves aren’t as powerful so you can use a ventless hood in most cases. But we recommend a hood that is vented to the outside to keep your air clean and fresh.

A conventional kitchen extractor fan can use 200 watts of electricity constantly and may run for 5 hours per day.
