The Hamilton Beach Sound Shield 950 is designed to reduce noise from the four different areas of a traditional blender. It’s quiet enough to carry on your party conversation when mixing margaritas, or prepping dinner while the baby naps upstairs.

A hinged, 2-piece sound shield opens and closes over the blender to reduce noise while blending. The base is designed to fit both the included 52 oz. glass jar and the 20 oz. travel jar, giving you the flexibility to blend for one or the whole family. With 950 watts of power, 5 speeds and three programmed settings, including smoothie, you can do everything from mix salsas to puree soups. Stainless steel blades make quick work of crushing ice. A drip-free pour spout on the large jar reduces mess, and a travel lid for the smaller jar makes for easy on-the-go drinks. The blades and jars are both dishwasher safe.

Similar to commercial quiet blenders, a two-piece sound shield reduces noise while blending, even with frozen ingredients. It’s hinged for easy access to your blender, and removes for cleaning. The motor enclosure and quiet fan design also work to soften sound.

With the twist of the blade collar you can switch from blending in the larger jar to blending in the travel jar. It’s 20 oz. size and travel lid make it perfect for on-the-go smoothies, protein shakes and icy drinks.
